Put Oradell First has worked to preserve and enhance our quality of life. We have:

  • Fought and defeated Walgreens when they attempted to move into Oradell | Read article
  • Championed the inclusion of an historic planning element into the Planning Board's Master Plan for the first time to help ward off unwanted retail intrusion into Oradell
  • Introduced an ordinance to provide stricter restrictions to limit intrusiveness and prevent cell towers in residential neighborhoods | Read article
  • Worked to create zoning review sub-committee to revise land use laws to prevent overdevelopment
  • Voted for a public advocate for major land use cases
  • Re-designed Memorial Field Playground to accommodate young children
  • Re-zoned and designated various parcels of land as dedicated conservation/recreation areas
  • Improved traffic flow at OPS by construction of a drop-off lane
  • Created Oradell Family Day and the Oradell Street Fair with the assistance of the Special Events Committee
